RACP Research Entry Scholarship application

 

Your SmartyGrants login must use your own email address, and not a shared account or mailbox. This is for your own privacy and security.

Prior to completing the application form, you as the applicant must:

  1. Read the Award Terms and Conditions.
  2. You may contact the RACP Foundation if you have any questions prior to submitting an application.
  3. Assess your eligibility carefully. Take special note where awards are tenable and the qualifications/research experience required for each award.
  4. Liaise with your supervisor in regard to the requirement for a Supervisor Statement (see below).

You may submit a project proposal for consideration for multiple individual awards under this category using a single application form. Specify the awards you wish to apply for in Section D of this form. Multiple application forms from the same applicant will not be considered.

You must submit an application using the online application form. Hard copies and emailed applications (e.g. in Word or PDF) will not be accepted.

You will be required to provide an ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) number in this application. If you don't have one yet, you can sign up for one here.

Supervisor Statement

After you have submitted your application, your eligibility will be checked, and then your supervisor will be required to complete a supervisor statement form. An email will be sent to them with instructions. Please note that these are manual processes, and will be effected within two business days. Your supervisor will be given their own deadline, separate to the closing date for applicant submissions.

Your supervisor will be able to see the contents of your application but not change or amend your submission.

Once you have submitted your application, you will not be able to make changes to it. We recommend that you show the draft of your application to your supervisor before submitting your application. Make sure you allow time for this before the deadline for applicant submissions.
